PRODUCT: Biondi Santi Rosso Di Montalcino
Biondi-Santi is one of the most notable families in the wine world, and perhaps the most notable in Italy. Credited with inventing modern day Brunello, the Biondi Santi family was a pioneer in producing wines for aging.
By the mid-1940's Biondi Santi was the only producer on record producing Brunello, having declared only four vintages since 1888. Their success paved the way for other producers and today there are over 200. The Biondi Santi family's commitment to the development of their vines through innovative microclimatic studies and generations of vine cloning make them among the top producers of Brunello and in Italy and the world.
