Château La Croix Saint-Estèphe is the second wine from Château Le Crock, Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, situated just between the well-known classified growths - Château Cos d'Estournel et Château Montrose. The wines from Château La Croix Saint-Estèphe benefit from the same care as Château Le Crock regarding the vine-growing (thinning-out of the leaves, bunch thinning etc.), the vinification (in stainless steel vats equipped with a temperature control system, with regular pumping-over in the course of the day) and the ageing (in barrels from one year and more). The wines from Château La Croix Saint-Estèphe are well-balanced and complex. However, you could drink them a bit earlier than Château Le Crock.
