Benefiting from expertise recognized since 1886, JM MONMOUSSEAU is a company focusing on the elaboration of fine sparkling wines from Touraine.  This family business specializes in the traditional production and blending of the main Loire Valley wine appellations.

At present, it is one of the leading producers of wines in Touraine. The firm is developing a range of fine sparkling wines made according to the “methode traditionnelle” but also a selection of good quality still wines suited to convivial drinking occasions.

The variety of soils in Touraine and the diversity of the region’s grape varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc or more specifically Cot (Malbec) produce small quantities of Monmousseau wines boasting good diversity.  The company has heavily invested in winemaking equipment, in particular in thermo-regulated vats, allowing it to make wine according to optimal conditions, including elaborating white wines at a low temperature.
